John Kelly, New Chief of Staff

Today, President Donald Trump is looking for a fresh start as General John Kelly is taking over the reins of the Trump White House.

Homeland Security Secretary General, John Kelly, was sworn in as the new White House Chief of Staff this morning.  He replaces Reince Priebus after a dramatic White House shake-up.

In addition to leaks, public infighting and a major legislative health care defeat, the White House also faces foreign policy tests with North Korea and Russia.

"It's as if the Congress has decided the President is a child and they're going to put the valuables on a higher shelf and put covers on the outlets so he can't harm himself or the country," says Matt Dowd, ABC News Political Analyst.

Despite the President stating today, "we're doing very well," Americans in the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll gave the President at his 6 month mark, a record low approval rating.
