The long-time sports editor at the Ashtabula Star Beacon newspaper was arrested Monday, charged with two counts of sexual imposition.

According to the Star Beacon, Don McCormack, was arrested by the Ashtabula County Sherriff’s department and charged with sexual imposition.

That’s defined as misconduct causing someone to have sex unwillingly.

The paper's story indicates McCormack also served as a girls junior varsity softball and basketball coach for years.

The Star Beacon’s publisher said McCormack's employment has been terminated.
