Erie Police officers were out on foot and on bikes patrolling the area. Erie Police Chief Randy Bowers says it was a relatively quiet weekend without a significant amount of crime at the event. "We had enough officers on hand we deployed officers on bikes which we found to be effective in years past and we had a plan coming in and it worked very well we had very little problem." Chief Bowers says they had twelve officers on bikes over the weekend to monitor the event.
