Charges Filed In Friday Night Crash

Erie Police have filed charges against two men after a chase ended in a crash.

The incident happened around 8:30 Friday night when Erie Police tried to pull over a speeding car that was traveling up to 60 miles per hour near East 23rd and Parade Streets. The chase ended when the car crashed at East 29th and German streets.

Now 18 year old Angelo Moore and 28 year old Brandon Carlson are facing charges stemming from the incident.Moore is facing charges which include fleeing or attempting to elude police, aggravated assault by vehicle, reckless driving and other charges. Carlson is charged with firearms not to be carried without a license and persons not to possess firearms.

A firearm was recovered from this incident.
