Erie Democrats are raising concern after a Pittsburgh Post Gazette article questions one of the Governor’s employees.

Erie County Democratic chairman Bill Cole said he is requesting that Corbett fire his special advisor of high education, Ron Tomalis. Cole says the Post Gazette is reporting that Tomalis is a 'ghost employee' and is paid nearly one hundred and forty thousand dollars but does not have an office.

The governor fired back on the accusations saying the claims are not true "He's not a ghost employee. Mr. Cole is absolutely wrong. He has no evidence to say he's a ghost employee he's not a ghost employee. The secretary of education has said she sees him on a regular basis in the building. Ghost employees usually can't be seen can they?"
