Downtown Erie Transformed For celebrate Erie

Downtown Erie has been transformed as the biggest party of the summer begins tonight. Set up continues for tonight's kick off of Celebrate Erie with the “Taste of Erie” in Perry Square.

There are five local restaurants and caterers participating this year with a few new faces as well.

Also tonight the chalk walk will begin you'll see artist beginning their creations that you can visit all weekend long. That has moved, this year the chock walk is in front of the Boston Store that's between Seventh and Eighth Street along State Street and the kids zone will be between Eighth and Tenth St.

Harley-Davidson will also be hosting two bike nights this weekend between 10th and 12th Streets on Friday and Saturday nights

Celebrate Erie will officially kick off tomorrow at noon with an announcement from Mayor Sinnott in the gazebo in Perry Square
