One day before dozens of college student athletes play for the Division Two Women’s Title in Erie they spent some time in the classroom with local elementary students.

Schools in Erie were assigned an Elite Eight team to cheer on in the tournament that's being hosted by Gannon University at Erie Insurance Arena.

Students went wild at Villa Maria Elementary school today as the Limestone Saints visited the school.

Both schools have the same logo, a Fluer Di Lis .a common thread between the two.

Meanwhile the Saint Luke Crusaders hosted West Texas A & M cheering the team on and getting autographs before the team left.

And the hometown Edinboro Scots spent some time at the Maritime Charter School.

Following your dreams and working hard was their message to the young students.

The students at each school were given tickets to the games to watch the women who visited their school today.

The games start tomorrow at noon.
