An Erie man learns how long he will spend behind bars in a shooting that nearly killed another man.

22-year-old Xavier Hollamon was sentenced to 12 and a half to 25 years in state prison.

Investigators say Hollamon got into an argument with Dayquan Robison over 20 dollars and then shot him at point blank range.

Robison sustained severe injuries and was in the hospital for several weeks.

Hollamon was convicted back in February following a jury trial.

Back in 2012, Hollamon served time for his involvement in the dumping of 14-month-old Alayja Coleman.
