MARCH 30, 2014-- This winter has everyone working in overdrive to remove a whole lot of snow. This season Erie has already accumulated more than 137 inches of snow to date. The first measurable snowfall of the season came on October 24th, 2013. Erie currently holds the title of snowiest city in the country with a population over 100,000. Syracuse is quickly trying to close the gap, but Saturday's snowfall brought another 3.5 inches of snow to Erie.
