July 12, 2014 - Things are cooling off at the Erie Zoo with an annual tradition that includes some sweet treats for visitors, and the animals.

Today marked the annual "Frozen Safari," also known as the "coolest event" of the summer, at the zoo.

Those stopping by got a passport which led them to sweet treats from five different vendors.

But again, the families weren't the only ones getting some cold, refreshing treats.

Roughly 4,000 people stopped by the zoo for this day of fun.
