The highly anticipated outdoors store, Field & Stream, kicked off its grand opening this weekend.

Hundreds of people were lined up to shop at the store and this morning was just the beginning of an exciting weekend.

Today's ribbon cutting ceremony kicked off three days of festivities including special guests, store discounts and a variety of family activities.

Field & Stream is fully stocked with gear for fishing, hunting, camping, archery and more.

The store did open its doors early this week with a soft open on Wednesday and Thursday but that didn't make anyone any less exciting about today's opening.

"I think everyone's very excited about the product and finally getting into the store and seeing it. Um although, I have a feeling a lot of these shoppers have been here over the last couple of days so that's really exciting for us to see some repeat shoppers," said Shian-Li McGuire, director of brand marketing for the sore.

Nearly 50 families camped out on Thursday night in tents at the store for the grand opening.

Special activities include professional anglers, an archery trailer and special guests including Troy and Jacob Landry from the show, Swamp People.
