According to the Erie County Health Department...flu numbers have dropped to less than half a dozen per week over the last several weeks.
Lifeworks Erie is one of the locations around town still giving out flu shots.
Although it's spring the weather is cold and the flu can spread easily with people in close quarters.
Some of the vaccine on the market expires in May or June.
So far this season, 689 cases of the flu have been reported in Erie County.
H1N1 returned as the prominent strain for the first time since 2009.
