Holocaust survivor and author of "5 Perfect Pebbles", Marion Blumenthal Lazan will tell her story beginning at 7 p-m Sunday.
Lazan will talk about her and her family’s imprisonment at the notorious Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, the same camp that held Anne Frank.
After her presentation Sunday night Lazan will then spend the rest of the week speaking at 8 local schools.
Members of the Jewish Community Council of Erie advocate continued education on the holocaust and what it meant to their people.
Hear her story of survival at the Jewish Community Council of Erie's annual Holocaust Memorial Observance Sunday night at 7 o'clock at the McDowell High School Auditorium.
The event is free and open to the public.
