Kanzius Device Works on More Animal Studies
June 2, 2014: More tests are in the works before the Kanzius external radio-frequency generator takes its next step to human trials. Researchers at Baylor College of Medicine are preparing to conduct two more large animal cancer studies before applying to the FDA for human trials. Dr. Steven Curley, the Kanzius' projects lead researcher says the two studies were recommended by consultant who worked for the FDA for 20 years. If these final animal trials are successful, AkesoGenX Corp. will file the application with the FDA by early fall. The FDA must approve any drug before it can be used on humans.
