Klein Elementary School Unveils Renovations

Klein Elementary School held a dedication for their refurbished digs this evening.

Dozens were on hand as a plaque was unveiled commemorating those who were involved in making the project happen.

Students who had to make the move to Wesleyville for last year's classes, will now return to Klein this year.

The three years of planning and construction are now realized in a cleaner, safer more up to date school.

"We have a lot of the new technologies involved in the school. Smartboards in every room, a lot of the new things, wiring that was pulled before that we never had, and so those things are constructive what we're going to do in the learning process,” said Thomas Fortin, president of Harborcreek School District.

The new school is the first of two renovated buildings in the district, with work going on at Clark Elementary School as well.
