Local businesses are showing their support for Jax Stone with “Jax Stone Week.”

From now until August 3, you can visit businesses including Eastway Lanes, Ye Ole Sweet Shoppe and La Grille in Edinboro.

Each business is offering various deals and proceeds will go to the stone family to help offset funeral costs.

La Grille will offer a special this Wednesday featuring Jax’s favorite foods.

"I think if people had a child that was sick themselves they would appreciate the help from the community. So it benefits all of us, you get to help them and you get to feel good about what you've done,” said Linda Ruth, owner of La Grille.

Jax, 9, passed away Sunday morning after a long battle with a malignant brain tumor.

Other businesses participating are: Ace Duchini Hardware, Sparrow Pond Campground, M.E. Graffius Trucking LLC, Bella Salon and Day Spa, Charisma Salon, Monacella Massage and Kinesiology, La Grille, Edward John Perch Fishing Boat, Eastway Lanes, Ye Ole Sweet Shoppe, Gonstead Family Chiropractic, Cocktails and Color at Fox and Hound and Hoss’s Steak House.
