MAY 12, 2014-- At the school board meeting the board addressed some concerns that people were having over the district possibly ending the Center for Performing Arts Program. Officials say they plan to keep the arts and music programs available for students and are just looking into ways they can condense the classes that may not be needed. The board says the dance, arts and music programs are all valuable and plan to continue having productions as well. The board says they will also look into alternate options for the director of the center for performing arts classes after Mike Malthaner retires this year.
