Families laid out blankets and brought snacks to Frontier Park, where the movie started playing at dusk.
This event is hosted by Lake Erie Arboretum at Frontier Park, LEAF, and sponsored by the Erie County Gaming Revenue Authority.
It’s the first movie in a two movie event this summer.
"It's a gorgeous night and it's just a perfect time for families to come together, just have fun and enjoy being outside and watch a fun movie,” said Theresa Weaver, who went to watch the movie.
The next movie will be the original Karate Kid, playing on August 29 at dusk.
