Patriot's Day was celebrated in Meadville, several people showing up in Diamond Park and many showing disdain for the United Nations.

The rally was held to recognize and observe patriot's day, which commemorates the Battles of Lexington and Concord, which were fought near Boston in 1775.

Patriot's Day is usually held annually on the third Monday of April but organizers say they held the rally today since the battle took place on April 19th 1775.

As part of todays demonstration, a United Nations flag was burned.

Patriot's day should not be confused with Patriot Day, held on September 11 to mark the anniversary of terrorist attacks in the USA in 2001.
