Rollover Accident Sends Driver To The Hospital

- A rollover accident on Route 97 sends one person to the hospital this morning
Around nine A.M Emergycare, State Police and the Perry Hi-Way Hose Company responded to reports of a rollover crash.

The driver of the one vehicle was traveling west on Sampson Station Road and did not stop before entering Route 97. That driver then hit a Jeep that was traveling north on Route 97. The car rolled and landed on its roof shattering the windows and trapping the driver inside.

The driver was wearing a seatbelt and had to be cut out of the car. The victim was taken to UPMC Hamot for his injuries and is in stable condition. The driver of the other Jeep was not injured.
