June 14, 2014 - For the third year straight, hundreds of runners are mixing food with fitness for a race like no other.

Runners hit the trails of Presque Isle for the annual "Stanganelli’s Jog and Hog" race.

Runners had to jog two miles, then eat three or six pepperoni balls, and then run back.

Mike Hertner won today's race for the third year straight. This time, clocking in at just under 30 minutes.

He won't share his secret to winning, but he said he definitely has a technique to his success.

Even though Hertner said this race is one of the most difficult that he competes in each year, he adds that it is one of the most fun races, too.
