Stark Comes Up Short In Lake Swim Attempt

17 year old Norm Stark comes up short in his second attempt to swim across Lake Erie.
In July Starks first attempt was cut short due to choppy lake waters. Today Stark swam nine miles, that’s just a few miles short of the U.S. Canadian border. He stopped due to severe leg cramps.

Stark took off from Long Point, Ontario this morning with hopes of making it to Freeport Beach in North East.

The Cathedral Prep senior's effort did not go without success, he raised fifteen thousand dollar for the intrepid fallen heroes fund,

No more attempts will be tried this year.
