Tomorrow is the last day of school for students in the city of Erie so that means the city's curfew hours are about to change. During summer vacation, minors under the age of 18 are not allowed out in public between the hours of 12 a-m and six a-m.

There are some exceptions to the curfew rules like work, being out with a parent, or if there's an emergency. Erie Police Chief Randy Bowers says although minors are only involved in a small percentage of crime in the city the curfew will still be a good tool for Erie police to cut down on incidents.

The midnight to six a-m curfew will be enforced until the school year starts up once again.
