July 3, 2014 - A third man has been arrested and charged in connection with the explosion and fire at an Albion meth lab on May 12. Jerry McCormick, 58, is in the Erie County Prison charged with drug offenses, reckless endangerment, and risking a catastrophe.

McCormick was developed as a suspect in early June when police say he disposed of evidence after the meth lab exploded. Two other men charged in the meth operation and the fire and explosion are awaiting trial in the Erie County Prison.
