Green sentenced to 3 years in prison for robbery of cigar shop

Earlier this year, Nahmar Green pleaded guilty to robbery and gun charges, after entering Dee's Cigar Store wearing a mask, pointing a gun at the store owner and demanding cash. Police say Green fled the store on foot, when the owner, Frank Adiutori, pursued Green and allegedly shot at him.
At sentencing today, Judge Stephanie Domitrovich sentenced Green to 3 years, 4months to 6 years, 8 months in prison; with 4 years probation.
Green's attorney said because of his mental health condition and because he is taking strides to better himself in prison, he was sentenced on the lower-end of the standard range.  More information to come.
