3 Doors Down, Big and Rich among this year's musical acts at Celebrate Erie

From the sounds of the 70s to Motown to the country duo Big and Rich, the musical lineup for this year's Celebrate Erie festival is promising something for everyone.

Erie Mayor Joe Sinnott released the lineup for the festival which will be held August 17-20.

Committee members say they worked hard on getting the best acts possible since it will be the last festival for the Sinnott administration.

The highlights?

At Taste of Erie on Thursday, look for the Crystal Blue Band, which are former members of the Shondells. Later look for the Spinners.

On Friday, it's Blue Oyster Cult and then former Styx front man Dennis DeYoung.

On Saturday's main stage, it's 3 Doors Down and the final act Sunday are country stars Big and Rich.
