If you like haunted houses, you may have heard of an attraction on Erie's east side.
Every year, Jerry Waidley spends months planning for his home-made haunted house he calls Road's end Eerie Manor Haunted House -- located on the 100 block of East 35th street.
For more than two decades, Waidley has turned his front lawn and driveway into a walk through attraction drawing hundreds of visitors on Halloween night. Every year the haunted house featured a spooky theme. This year's theme, witches.
"This year with the witch theme, yeah, we have different things. The inside of the building is tricked out like an old witch cottage. There's some good scares in there, some fun stuff, some cute stuff but over all, it's just more of a traditional Halloween kind of witchy theme," said Waidley, haunted house owner and co-designer.
Waidley says the biggest challenge in planning this elaborate set-up is trying to make it bigger and better than the year before.
