A woman convicted of a rare murder and who is out of prison on probation will head back behind bars. 35-year-old Corinne Wilcott is sentenced to eight months to nearly one year in the Erie County Prison.
This, after she committed nearly two dozen parole violations including pleading guilty to a simple assault charge in August. Wilcott was sentenced to seven to fourteen years in 2003 after being convicted of homicide of an unborn child. A jury found Wilcott guilty of kicking Sheena Carson in the stomach repeatedly, killing the fetus.
Wilcott was also given eleven more years of probation.
