Accidental fire in Union City leaves a trailer a total loss

An accidental fire in Union City destroyed a trailer.

Multiple crews were called to a fire on Kimble Hill Road.

When firefighters arrived, the trailer was fully engulfed.

Officials said getting water to the scene was an obstacle, but the crews managed to get the fire under control in about 20 minutes.

"The trailer is a total loss. We contacted Red Cross. There was four adults and two children living in this structure at that time," said Bob Wolf, the Union City Fire Chief.

The chief told us everyone escaped safely without injuries.

He said the fire will be ruled accidental.
