The 73rd Albion Area Fair is almost ready to unveil some new attractions. Organizers and vendors are setting up shop, with less than a day before open.
The Albion Area Fair will feature plenty of food, competitions and entertainment. Up to 30,000 people are expected to attend through Saturday. More than 200 volunteers have helped put on the event, known as, 'the biggest little fair around'.
The Vice President of the Albion Area Fair, Randy Hites, explains, "We’re not huge. You can walk all around. We’ve got a lot of new rides this year. Lisko Amusements is here. And so, we’ve got extra new rides. We have some more space for them this year. So, we’re excited about them coming in."
The fairground is located on Academy Street, north of Route 6. Activities begin tomorrow morning at nine with animal entries.
Ride-a-rama begins at three o'clock.
