Allegheny College student struck, killed by car Thursday night

MEADVILLE, Pa. - The Halloween weekend has turned tragic for one Tennessee family, after learning that their daughter was struck and killed by a car in Meadville.

Police say Hannah Morris, 20, of Oak Ridge, TN was struck by a car driven by Jeffrey Freeman, 35, of Meadville.

The accident took place at the intersection of north main street and east john street.

The Allegheny College student was treated at the scene and taken to the hospital, where she later died of her injuries.

Meadville police are being assisted by Pennsylvania state troopers in determining if any charges are warranted.
