Announcing televised debate dates

WQLN TV, in partnership with JET 24, FOX 66, and the Jefferson Educational Society, will present a one-hour debate between candidates for the office of Erie County Executive, premiering at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2017, and a one-hour debate between candidates for the office of Mayor of the City of Erie, premiering at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 27, 2017.

Erie County Executive Candidates Debate:

Democratic incumbent Kathy Dahlkemper and Republican challenger Art Oligeri will share their plans for the future of Erie County, in a debate moderated by the Jefferson Educational Society’s Program Director Ben Speggen and JET 24 Action News anchor Jill McCormick.

Thursday, October 26 at 8:00 p.m. on WQLN-TV 54.1, and 8:00 p.m. on WQLN.org             

Sunday, October 29 at 4:00 p.m. on WQLN Radio 91.3FM

Democrat Joe Schember and Republican John Persinger will debate issues critical to the future of the City of Erie, in a debate moderated by the Jefferson Educational Society’s Program Director Ben Speggen and JET 24 Action News anchor Jill McCormick.
