It's not just about the car; it's about the history.
That's what mustang fanatics said on Sunday.
Hundreds of people gathered for the annual Mustang show at the Bob Ferrando Ford in Girard.
Drivers from the tri-state area got a chance to show off their sports cars and meet people who share the same interests.
John Clor from Ford Motor Group came to the event for a book signing.
He said this car show has a rare assortment of Mustangs.
"We have old cars. We have new cars. We have cars that are rare. We have a car here from Washington state that is extremely rare and it's just a pleasure to see these different types of mustangs," said Jerry DeRosa, the vice president at Lake Erie Mustang Owners Club.
Event coordinators said every year they see a great turn out, growing each time around.
This year's charity is the Flagship Niagara.
