Darryl Baideme waives his preliminary hearing in court this morning.
Baideme is charged with receiving advanced payment for services and failed to perform, and theft by unlawful taking after the victim says he is out around $3,000. Several other victims came forward saying Baideme took money, but never completed the work.
Baideme was found guilty last week by a jury for theft and fraud, however Baideme is speaking out, saying he is trying to make everything right with the homeowners. "I'm here. I'm willing to do whatever I got to do. I'll face whatever I got to face to move forward. I'm not a bad person if you really know me. I do hard work. I have hundreds of other customers that are very, very happy. I'm willing to stand here and fight and do what I got to do."
Baideme has not been sentenced yet on the other cases.
No trial date has been scheduled yet in this case.
