Students at Collegiate Academy are starting their day with a free breakfast, and a celebrity to promote the meal.
Former Pittsburgh Steeler, Charlie Batch, was on hand this morning to kick off the Breakfast in the Classroom program. The breakfast program has now expanded this year to include East and Strong Vincent middle schools and Erie High School.
Batch was there to help promote the program and, of course, to take pictures with many of his fans. He says he was there to help the kids start their day off right. "And, that starts with breakfast.
