The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission kicks off its annual series of 'Be Utility Wise' across the state. The conference is to educate agencies in Erie, including utility companies, to talk about low income programs, the United Way and others to be prepared year-round in order to better serve consumers.
Shari Williams of the Public Utility Commision tells us, "resources sustain communities and families sustain communities. The PUC, we as educators, want to make sure that all communities have all the information so consumers can get ready for the winter months to summer months and everything in between."
The PUC has six more conferences across the state in the series.
