Boil water advisory in Warren

A power outage at a water treatment plant leads to a boil water advisory in the city of Warren.  The Pennsylvania American Water website indicates the outage led to a situation that could allow contamination to enter the system.

According to the Warren Times Observer, a company spokeswoman says the power is back and water is being tested.  He called the advisory "precautionary" and expects it to last until Saturday.

Water is being provided at the PA American Water parking lot on Wiley Street and Betts Park.
