The Erie Philharmonic is getting "animated" when Bugs Bunny and the whole gang take over the Warner Theatre. It's Bugs Bunny at the Symphony II, a chance to see the Warner Brother's cartoons with live music on the Warner Theatre stage.
The show spotlights the world's favorite Looney Tunes projected on the big screen while the Erie Philharmonic plays their incredible original scores live. For a lot of people, seeing these cartoons introduced them to classical music.
Steve Wiser, Executive Director of the Erie Philharmonic, says, "Everyone starts to realize that's where they first learned about classical music... Pretty much where everyone learned about classical music, seeing these cartoons".
Bugs Bunny at the Symphony II is presented by the Erie Philharmonic this Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 2:30pm. There are still a few tickets left for Sunday if you act quickly!
