One local man was already preparing for a big Christmas dinner on Sunday.
Every year Rich Koncol hosts a free Christmas dinner in the Greene Township Municipal Building.
Sunday he was cooking hams and turkeys and setting up the holiday desserts.
Everyone is invited to sit down for a meal from noon to four p.m. Christmas Day.
Koncol said it's his way to make a difference in the community.
"It's one of those bits to give back. There's too many folks that need help. There's many people that can do something about it, but very few people do," said Koncol.
Organizers said several community members are donating food items and their time to help out the dinner.
This event is free to the public.
