Cochranton Man Dies In Early Morning Car Crash

Pennsylvania State Police in Mercer are investigating an early morning accident that claimed the life of a Cochranton man. 73 year old Kenneth Anthony was pronounced dead after his car left the roadway, struck a culvert, causing it to go airborne. The crash happened at about 1 am this morning on Route 173, near Urey School Road, north of Sandy Lake, Mercer County. It is not known why his car left the roadway. Mr. Anthony was alone in the car.
