The complaint filed in a district judge race is passed on to the attorney general's office.
DA Jack Daneri passed the complaint made by republican District Judge Candidate, Thomas Carlotti, to the attorney general's office because of a conflict of interest.
Daneri says there is a conflict because District Judge Tom Carney's niece works in the DA's office. Carlotti alleges his democratic opponent, Carney, failed to register a political committee before accepting political donations and expending funds.
Daneri says the attorney general's office will now decide if they should investigate.
