Crews to resume search for 91-year-old Ohio man

ERIE, Pa. -- The search for a missing Ohio man will resume after being suspended on Monday.

According to the Erie County Sheriff Department's scuba team, divers will restart the search for 91-year-old John Peters on Thursday at 9 a.m. Crews will search the area along Dobbins Landing near Rum Runners, where his car was found.

Peters is described as a 5-foot-7, 155-pound white man. Police say he suffers from dementia and was last seen wearing all green clothing.

The Trumbull County Ohio Sheriff's office originally issued an endangered missing adult alert for Peters over the weekend.

According to police, he was last seen in his vehicle in Orwell, Ohio, in Ashtabula County on Feb. 28 at 8:30 p.m.
