The trial continues for a man accused of shooting and killing another man and then running away. Grover Lyons is returning to the Erie County Courthouse on trial for the shooting death of 28-year-old Darrin Germany.
The defendant is making the case he fired his weapon in self-defense. Yesterday, the jury heard primarily from police and detectives. Today, the prosecution is calling more witnesses to the stand, the jury hearing from witnesses at the scene and watching video recordings of Lyons being interviewed by authorities.
Lyons is facing multiple charges including criminal homicide and aggravated assault. The trial is expected to pick back up tomorrow morning.
