ERIE, Pa. -- A Millcreek Township apartment building condemned months ago is going to be demolished soon.
A building in the Granada Apartment complex is in danger of falling down, officials said. The building was condemned in October, forcing residents to move out.
Five other Granada buildings were also condemned after inspectors found mold, collapsed ceilings, walls and fire risks.
Contractors spent Tuesday on site preparing to bring the building down.
Six buildings of the complex have been marked for demolition for a variety of safety and code violations after officials started inspecting the massive Millcreek Township apartment complex in June following a deck collapse that injured five people.
