Dept. of Justice amends complaint against Rick Weaver Buick GMC and others

The Department of Justice has amended the criminal complaint against a local car dealership and three defendants, but at least one Defense Attorney says it doesn't change much.

The government has added some language and one additional case to the now 13 count indictment against Rick Weaver Buick GMC, Adam Weaver, Douglas Grooms and Adam Coover.

Prosecutors believe that from between May 2015 to March 2016, the group defrauded loan companies and others to illegally gain possession of automobiles.

Adam Weaver's Attorney, David Ridge, says the company remains open for business and looks forward to going to court, adding that Adam Weaver was not involved in, and did not participate in any type of inappropriate or illegal conduct.
