Drug bust recovers 10 grams of fentanyl and cash

Two people are charged in a drug bust, with cash and fentanyl recovered from the scene.  Officers with the Erie Police Department's Vice Unit and the DA Drug Task Force collected around 10 grams of fentanyl and a gun at 3207 Wallace Street.

Officers also recovering more than $22,000 from the suspects.  Charges against 22-year-old Felisha Martinez and 19-year-old Antoun Moore are pending.  District Attorney Jack Daneri tell us this bust sends a message to the dealers.

Daneri says, "Kudos go out to the Erie Police Department as well as the Erie County Drug Task Force, which put together an effort over a period of time, developing information, securing a search warrant and on the table here to my left are the fruits of that search warrant."

Officers say fentanyl is one of the most dangerous drugs on the streets right now, up to fifty times more powerful than heroin.
