Edinboro University honors Lou Porreco

Edinboro University honors a local legend.
The school dedicated a wall on its satellite campus to Lou Porreco.
The wall highlights Porreco's achievements, including his time as chair of the Erie Airport Authority.
Porreco was also a well known auto dealer in the area and an advocate for education.
The university president said the wall is great way to honor and remember Porreco.
"They've been generous for a long period of time to the community and to Edinboro University specifically and we always love an opportunity to recognize the people that are helpful for our community," said H. Fred Walker, the Edinboro University President.
The Porreco family donated the land for the Porreco College of Edinboro.
Lou died in 2015 at 78-years old.
