Eeriebyss may have to wait another year to spook Erie crowds

As the Eeriebyss continues to try and open for the Halloween season, the City Code Enforcement Office says they still have a long way to go.

Today, Greg Sutterlin, Owner of the building at 1053 West 12th Street, went before the city’s Building Code Board of Appeals seeking three separate variances.  The board decided to table the discussion until Sutterlin can get a code-compliant set of plans approved by building inspectors and a new water line hook-up to the building’s sprinkler system.

Sutterlin had hoped to get the haunted house open sometime this month.
