Focusing on the demolition of the C-Wing, crews complete another week of renovation efforts at Erie High School.
'B & B Wrecking' out of Cleveland was subcontracted for the demotion efforts to the C-Wing. That's the area that was most affected by the accidental fire in May. Crews tore off the roof membrane and insulation. Tehy also began the removal of all damaged structural steel.
Director of Facilities and Maintenance for Erie School District, Eric Seibert, says, "We've been increasing man power and resources in order to still accomplish our end-date of August 28th and make the building safe for occupancy."
The demolition efforts are expected to take another two weeks to complete.
