EHS taking contractor bids

Classrooms and workshops damaged by fire last may at Erie High School will soon be new again.  A dozen contractors met today at the school to learn what's involved in the bidding process to get the work done.

Bids are being accepted for general contractor work, along with mechanical and electrical jobs.  Contractors toured the new landscaping room and welding shop and the second floor where five classrooms were damaged by fire. Bob Marz, Architect at Roth Marz, says, "They're going to look at the space and in conjunction with our drawings prepare a price, or bid if you will... and submit that next Thursday."

Bids are due by October 26th and must be turned in at the school district office at 148 West 21st Street.
